VIETNAM AND HIS THREE PURPLE HEARTS
•He volunteered to serve in Vietnam as he graduated from Yale because "it was the right thing to do". As opposed to George Bush, who couldn't even handle being in the National Guard. Who would you rather serve your country? The winner of THREE purple hearts, or a draft dodger with the I.Q. of a doorstop?
•He has won three Purple Hearts.
•He served two tours of duty in Vietnam because he felt obligated to give back to his country, which is the United States of America.
•He has won three Purple Hearts.
•His leadership, courage, and sacrifice during the Vietnam war earned him a Silver Star, a Bronze Star with Combat V, and three Purple Hearts.
•Upon returning home, he became a spokesperson (because saying spokesman would be sexist, and John Kerry don't play that) for Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), and later co-founded Veterans of America, at only 27 years old!
•He has won three Purple Hearts.
•He estified in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and posed the powerful question :
"How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?"

JOHN KERRY SERVING AMERICA'S COMMUNITIES
•After finishing law school, he went on to become one of the top prosecuters in Massachusettes, where he took on organized crime and put away the states second-largest organazied crime figure in New England (and by "biggest" we do not mean big-boned, we mean notorious, because sizism is bad). He also fought for victims' rights and created programs for rape counseling. :)
•He has won three Purple Hearts.
•In 1982 he was elected Lieutenant Governor, and fought serious enviromental issues while in office, such as acid rain and popultion of the entire nation's water supply.
•He has won three purple hearts.
•He then got elected to the United States Senate, and has won reelection three times since; he is serving yet again, after winning in 2002. If he has been voted for this many times, you know he gets results.
•He has won three purple hearts.
OTHER THINGS WHICH GLORIFY KERRY EVEN MORE, IF THE THREE PURPLE HEARTS DIDN'T LEAVE YOU SWOONING
•His 19 years experience on the Senate has taught him that America must work with other countries to achieve our goals, as well as common goals across the globe. Unlike Bush, who believes we must work for ourselves, free "oppressed" countries (we all know these are just countries with resources we actually need) and make stupid, unnecessary decisions which jeopardize everyone.
•He has won three purple hearts.
•From his ground-breaking work on the Iran-Contra scandal to his leadership on global AIDS, he has distinguished himself as one of our nation's most respected voices on national security and international affairs.
•He has won three purple hearts.
•As the ranking Democrat on the East Asian and Pacific Affairs Subcommittee, he knows everything there is to know about that area, including North Korea, which he believes, with just a little persuasion, willallow its leading Diplomats to go to as many barbeques, pool parties, and luncheons at Wendy's as they want if they put away their nuclear weapons, and become nice and peaceful and allies with America.

•He may or may not have known about September 11th before it and may or may not have informed Bush about it, and Bush may or may not have ignored him.
